President of CUE Records. He has been knocking on the doors of the
music industry since 2001 and is best known to be a producer who can
tackle all genres of music. His breakthrough however, came in the form
of an Afro-Pop song he produced for Atumpan titled 'The Thing' which
made waves last year and got nominated at the GMA's.
Since his introduction to the game, he has worked with artists such
as Bradez, Guru, Atumpan , Edem, Andy Dosty, okyeame Kwame, Tinny,
George Spratz, Sarkodie, OJ Black, Asem, Gemini, Trigmatic and Mr.
Osei
(The legendary seprewa player) among others.
He told musicroomgh that he is proud of his self by choosing music ahead of
integrated in rural in art industry he pursuit in K.U.S.T and Cue Records
saved his life.
Peewee started making beats on a casio keyboard whilst he was in pope
john's senior high and junior seminary. He proceeded to KNUST to
pursue a degree in Rural Arts and during his school days he wanted a
studio of his own where he could further develop his art, so he turned
his own room into a studio. After he
completed KNUST, he made the decision to pursue music as a career.
Looking for a way to bring together the various talents in Ghana to do
something positive so he consulted 3 friends and they formed 'Cue'
which was supposed to be a movement for young talented Africans who
wanted to use their talent to aid development and has now turned into
a record label with artists such as Lousika, Ko-Jo, Kankam, Blurr, Mz
Fu, K Danso and others.
Peewee is currently working on the debut albums of the various artists
on the Cue label as well as producing for various other projects for a
few well known musicians.
