IS BLURR ABOUT TO TAKE THE ‘MIXTAPE KING’ TITLE FROM Ko-Jo Cue???

For the past two months CUE recording artist, Blurr, has been busy recording his sophomore mixtape entitled The Blurricane Tape (TBT). Known for his aggressive style of rapping, he beautifully crafts funny stories (nsemkwaa) about life in Africa, his rapping abilitiesand the GHRap culture, puts them together in a powerful sequence for the pleasure of his listeners. News reaching ‘MusicroomGH’ is that he is on a mission to take the ‘MIXTAPE KING’ title from his label mate Ko-Jo Cue, who is one of Ghana’s best upcoming emcees.
With the first single ‘Double Trouble’ which ironically features Ko-Jo Cue out already and taking the underground music scene by storm, one can only expect greatness from a member of a team that has been consistent as far as the production of quality music is concerned.
The BlurricaneTape features artists such as Cabum (one of the finest rapper/producers and the son of Alhaji K. Frimpong),GH female rapper and singer Lousika with her combination of French and English rap, as well as other underground acts such as Big Shady, Drilickxs, Sly and Efe. It also features production from Peewee, Taylorz and Juniorbeatz. The diversity of production and collaborations will help the mixtape cut across all genres.Since Ko-Jo Cue appearing on the tape and also serving as an advisor/mentor and helping Blurr put together the tape, it looks like Blurr is making a claim for the ‘Mixtape King’ title in an attempt to prove to the old man he has grown to his level and even better.

We at Musicroom GH hope Blurr gets to achieve all of his goals and be among others who have already made it. Watch out for The Blurricane Tape and his debut video.
